# Command Line Launch Options

Multiview for NDI supports the following command line options.

{% hint style="info" %}
These are subject to change. We'll do our best to indicate if/when a command line parameter will be deprecated or removed.
{% endhint %}

### "--blittype": Scaling mode override

Sets the upscale/downscale mode in the engine. By default, the engine uses a linear filter for quality.

Accepted options:

* `--blittype=fastest`: nearest neighbor scaling. Will be blocky, but is the fastest.
* `--blittype=pgpt` : Use linear interpolation. This uses parallel processing to speed up rendering.
* `--blittype=best`: Use linear interpolation. Equivalent to `pgpt`.
* `--blittype=pgpt2`: Use an experimental linear blitter that uses AVX2. Do not use.

### "--eemsec": Caption evaluation time override

Sets the wait time (in milliseconds) for caption expression evaluation. Defaults to 250 milliseconds (4 updates/second).

{% hint style="info" %}
Since an update to an expression can cause captions to be re-rendered, we suggest keeping this number fairly high. 250 milliseconds tends to strike a good balance between reactivity and performance.
{% endhint %}

In the example below, expressions for captions will be re-evaluated every 500 milliseconds.

```
./Tractus.Multiview.Ndi.SWEngine --eemsec=500
```

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://tractus.gitbook.io/tractus-tools-for-ndi/advanced-options/command-line-launch-options.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
